4 class hours 4 Credits This course is designed for students who need a comprehensive review of arithmetic. The purpose of this course is to prepare the student for entry into one-year certificate programs. Topics covered include whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, ratios and proportions, introduction to real numbers, measurement, solution of linear equations, and the use of formulas for perimeter, area, and volume. Course available only to students pursuing a certificate program. Institutional credit only.
