3 class hours, 8 laboratory hours 7 Credits Prerequisite: MACH 2222 Course content is designed to introduce students to major components of basic Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) systems and to provide the student experience in basic CAM programming for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tool to produce a specified part. Topics include CAM capability and control, and fundamental computer program preparation.
