2 class hours, 8 laboratory hours 6 Credits Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is covered in this course. Students will utilize the GTAW process to weld in all positions on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Content also includes basic instruction in the characteristics of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum as well as the power sources and shielding gases used with the GTAW process.
