Prerequisite: ELT 1015 taken in the same or a previous semester Students learn basic semiconductor theory and the characteristics of diodes, bipolar and FET transistors, thyristors, and elementary circuits relating to these devices. Laboratory work includes related practical experiments with semiconductors. Offered on the Leonardtown Campus. Credit for this course may be earned through departmental examination.
