Prerequisite: none Students survey the history of American foreign relations in the 20th century through the study of key domestic and international factors and events. The course examines the relationship between the United States and the world community by evaluating the social, political, economic, military, and cultural changes that led to the "American Century" when the UnitedStates became the dominant world power. (Students who have completed HST 2050 cannot receive credit for HST 1036.) Offered days and evenings on alternating campuses.
