Prerequisite: MTH 2300 taken in the same or a previous semester This course is intended for students whose program is education. It further develops and expands the statistical and probabilistic concepts learned in MTH 2300 that are important to elementary and middle school mathematics teachers. Topics include the analysis and display of data, model building using regression and correlation, topics in probability, and twosample hypothesis testing. Graphing calculators and computer software are used extensively throughout the course. To develop their oral and written presentation skills, students are required to do several presentations as part of the course.
