Prerequisite: MLT 2012 and MLT 2011/2011L must be taken in the same semester; and must be enrolled in the Medical Laboratory Technology program Students learn and practice blood bank procedures including ABO, Rh-Hr typing and detection, identification of antibodies, antiglobulin testing, and compatibility testing. Also included are serological tests for syphilis, C Reactive Protein, and rheumatoid arthritis. A passing grade of "C" is required in thiscourse. Offered days or evenings in the summer semester. Course fee: $75.00
