Prerequisite: EGR 1100 This course is designed specifically to prepare students for EGR 2440. Engineering students learn the fundamentals of programming using the C++ programming language. Topics include C++ language syntax, advanced data types, functions, arrays, pointers, strings, classes, data abstractions, and structured programming concepts. Students study concepts of Boolean algebra that is applied to algorithms to be developed in EGR 2440. Independent study is required every week in the microcomputer lab. Offered evenings. Course fee: $40.00
