Prerequisite: NUR 1215/1215L, SOC 1010, PSY 1010, plus NUR 2215 taken in the same or a previous semester Students use taxonomy of nursing practice and the nursing process to apply specialized skills in caring for the childbearing and child-rearing family. Health promotion, maintenance, and restoration are emphasized as students provide family-centered care in a variety of acute-care and community-based settings. Offered days and evenings during the fall and spring semesters. Course fee: $100.00
