Prerequisite: OFT 1001 or pass 25 w.p.m. keyboarding test during first class Students become familiar with computerized management techniques utilized in medical offices and healthcare facilities. The concepts of billing, collections, and insurance processing are presented. Through classroom simulations, students enter data, build files, computerize patient records, produce bills, and develop productivity and financial reports. Course fee: $20.00
