Prerequisite: none Students study the essentials of real estate law. Emphasis is on settlement procedures in Maryland with a study of the processes, procedures, and writings for which a paralegal may be responsible. Discussion covers real estate contracts, financing documents, title searches, and closing. Other topics include landlord/tenant issues, easements and covenants, and condos, planned unit developments, and co-ops. Students who have completed PGL 1450 cannot receive credit for PGL 2150. Offered irregularly. Course fee: $10.00
