Prerequisite: placement or permission of department chair; plus MUS 1501 taken in the same semester Students in MUS 1501 develop their aural skills of ear training, sight singing, and dictation through instructor-led computer-based instruction and learn to apply basic beginning principles of music theory to computer exercises involving key signatures, scale construction, intervals, triads, and chord progressions and inversions. Credit for this course may be earned through Advanced Placement examination. Offered days during the fall and spring semesters. Course fee: $25.00
