Prerequisite: MTH 1200 must be taken in the same or a previous semester; and PHY 1210L must be taken in the same semester This calculus-based course is the first of a three-semester physics sequence. Topics include kinematics, the laws of motion, force and energy, principles of mechanics, linear momentum, rotation, gravity, and properties of fluids. Credit for this course may be earned through Advanced Placement Examination.
