Prerequisite: none This course provides an introductory study of legal issues in recreational sports and leisure that professionals in the field may encounter. This course examines five primary legal areas: legal terminology and research; legal implications and principles of risk management, including insurance; liability concepts; situations giving rise to liability and litigation; and case studies of programs and activity areas. Offered days and evenings during the fall and spring semesters.
