6 hours. A faculty-supervised internship while the student attends the South Georgia Police Academy as a cadet. Students must successfully complete the 11-week Police Academy program of instruction and be certified as Basic Peace Officer in accordance with the P. O. S. T. standards. Open to all students; physical ability and administrative restrictions apply. Additional fees required. Students must contact the ABAC Criminal Justice Program coordinator 60 days prior to the start of the course. Summer (May - July)
