3 hours. Co-requisite: CRSS 2010L. Prerequisite: Exemption from or successful completion of READ 0099, ENGL 0099, and MATH 0099. A lecture and laboratory designed to provide students who are pursuing a 4-year degree with an in-depth understanding of the form and function of plants, and their use in agriculture. Typical agronomic and horticultural plants are used as examples. Some topics include cell division, growth, development, crop production, usage, genetics and metabolism. Fall, Spring.
