3 hours. Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or better in ASLH 2210. This course will expand on the management practices introduced in ASLH 2210 as they relate to key issues of the swine industry in the U. S. and internationally. Key issues include but are not limited to animal rights/welfare, environmental, government regulations, exports and consumer demands. Fall and Spring as needed.
