5 hours. Prerequisite: Exemption from or successful completion of READ 0099, ENGL 0099, and MATH 0099; and FRSC 1155, FRSC 2225, and FRSC 2235 with a grade of "C" or better. Study and application of procedures for determining timber stand volumes, including use of electronic data recorders and computation of sampling statistics. Mapping of forest areas is accomplished using GPS technology as well as traditional methods. Spring.
