3 hours. Prerequisite: PHSC 1011 and 1011L with a grade of "C" or better. This course is an Area F science course for early childhood education majors. The learning outcomes and topics of the course are intended to focus on central themes in physical science. Themes include: matter, energy, forces, electromagnetic/gravitational fields and astronomy. This is an activity based class with two hours of lecture and two hours of lab integrated together. Fall, Spring and Summer as needed.
