4 hours. Prerequisite: NURS 1109B, NURS 1115B & BIOL 2050/BIOL 2050L with a C or better. Co-requisite: NURS 2207B. This course is a study of female clients from adolescence through later maturity and newborn infants. The major focus of this course is on utilization of the nursing process to care for maternity clients, newborninfants and clients experiencing dysfunctions specific to females. A project involving cultural implications is included. Lecture/Lab (3-0-3). Fall.
