3 hours. Prerequisites: NURS 2207 & 2208 with a C or better. Co-requisite: NURS 2209 & 2210. This course is a study of the leadership and management component of registered nursing. The student learns to synthesize and apply previously learned theories and principles to client situations involving a variety of ages, cultures and situations. The leadership/manager role of the registered nurse is addressed. Employability skills are discussed. Lecture/Clinical (2-0-3). Fall, Spring.
