4 hours. Prerequisite: Exemption from or successful completion of MATH 0099; and MATH 1112 or MATH 1113 with a grade of C or better, or score on placement test. Four hours of lecture/demonstration each week. A first course in the techniques and theory of the calculus. Topics include: limits, continuity, differentiation and integration, applications of the derivative and the integral. Fall, Spring, Summer as needed.
