3 hours. Prerequisite: Exemption from or successful completion of READ 0099, ENGL 0099, and MATH 0099; MATH 2053 with a grade of C or higher. Co-requisite: PHYS 2211L. Three hours of lecture and one hour of recitation each week. An introductory course which will include material from mechanics, thermodynamics, and waves. Elementary differential calculus will be used. Fall.
