An introduction to clinical procedures involved with assessing, diagnosing, treating and anticipating treatment outcomes for persons with identifiable mental disorders. While the course is text-oriented and based in the vocabulary of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, a student will also be expected to apply theoretical constructs to case studies.
