One and one-half hours lecture, four and one-half hours lab weekly in related trade theory. Prerequisite: Registration is limited to indentured apprentices and those awaiting indenture. Provides classroom theory directly related to skills performed at the work site, including the repair and operation of heavy-duty equipment, related mathematics, and science, particularly as they pertain to the electrical and hydraulic systems, and first aid and safety practices.
