Topics include algorithm design and problem-solving strategies; concepts of object-oriented programming: classes, objects, encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism. Students will develop applications using class hierarchies and abstract data types. Searching and sorting algorithms will be introduced. (GR/P/NP) (F,S)
