Three hours weekly. Acceptable for credit: CSU, UC - Credit limitation An introduction to current Spanish, stressing pronouncing, understanding, speaking, reading, and writing the language, and offering oral and written practice in sentence structure, vocabulary, and idiomatic Spanish. Includes an introduction to some aspects of the culture of the Spanish-speaking world. The Spanish 120-121 sequence is equivalent to Spanish 101. This course is not open to students who are enrolled in or have received credit for Spanish 101. (GR/P/NP) (F,S,U)
