Designed to provide students with the examples and practices they need to better define how "theory" can be translated into realworld experiences and success. This course examines language acquisition techniques including the use of exemplars and prototypes in concept formation; reasoning (deductive/ inductive); listening skills; critical thinking skills utilizing peers, mentors, tutors, and support staff to facilitate and integrate what is being taught in the classroom and how students translate that information into useful models that will work for the student.
