(Formerly BUS 1809) 3 credits, 3 hours Pre-requisite: BUS 100 This course begins with an introduction to the American legal system, court system, common law, and statutory law as they relate to contracts. The course examines the essential principles of the law of business contracts in depth. Through the use of cases, the principles are applied to typical modern business transactions. Heavy emphasis is placed on case analysis and student participation. Particular reference is made to New York law.
