(3lab) This course is an introduction to the use of computer software (programs) designed for educational purposes. Students will survey and evaluate educational software written for various subjects and grades. Students will also learn about programming languages used in schools today and they will write short programs using several programming languages. The course will conclude with a look at the future of computers in schools, including the topic of hardware, as well as software. This course is designed for students in the Teacher Sabbatical Program in Computer Literacy.
