Three hours lecture and Three hours laboratory per week. CSU This course provides fundamental knowledge of the automobile, including engines, power trains, suspension and brakes, electrical and fuel systems. Other areas of instruction will be in the use of tools and equipment normally used in automotive service and repair. Emphasis will be on the operating principles, nomenclature of car care, inspection, preventive maintenance, and minor repair procedures.
