Three hours lecture per week. CSU Prerequisite: Sophomore standing in Aviation Program, eligibility for MATH 040 C and PHYS 130 C. This course is a study of the basic principles of aerodynamics. A consideration of airfoil shapes and characteristics, viscous effects, propellers, and aircraft performance viewed in terms of basic laws of physics, aircraft limitations and Federal Aviation Regulations. Emphasis will be on physical aspects of flight time.
