Three hours lecture Two hours discussion/quiz and Four hours laboratory per week. UC/CSU, AA GE, CSU GE, IGETC, CAN CHEM 2 Prerequisite: Two years of High School algebra or MATH 040 C. CHEM 107 C with a grade of "C" or better, or a passing score onthe Chemistry Proficiency Test. Topics covered include the general principles of inorganic chemistry with associated laboratory analysis and chemical computations. This includes properties of solutions, solution stoichiometry, gasses, thermochemistry, atomic structure and periodicity, and the chemistry of liquids and solids.
