Three hours lecture per week. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option UC Credit Limitation/CSU, AA GE, CSU GE, IGETC This is a general education course in chemistry. A non-mathematical approach will be taken to examine the fundamental concepts of chemistry and their application to various facets of life in a highly technological society. Topics will include a discussion of chemicals in air, water, food, drugs, and the environment, as well as areas of current interest. Duplicate credit not granted for CHEM 103HC.
