Two hours lecture and Two hours laboratory per week. CSU Advisory: CIS 118 C or CIS 111 C. The purpose of this course is to provide students interested in secondary teaching (grades 7-12) personal proficiency in educational technologies that facilitate the teaching process and enhance student learning. Training includes educational technology terminology; development of a teaching portfolio that includes a specific unit plan in the student's designated discipline, multimedia presentation samples, Internet search and retrieval literacy, electronic communication applications, evaluations tools, support materials, and awareness of legal and ethical issues. $ 3.00 Materials Fee - PAYABLE AT REGISTRATION.
