Two hours lecture and Two hours laboratory per week. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option CSU This course presents advanced topics in Web site development and maintenance. Emphasis is placed on web programming, client/ server scripting, and Web server configuration. Other topics include how to design effective user interfaces, how to process user data with forms, how to configure a Web server, and how to write a script in PERL (Practical Extraction and Report Language), as well as in CGI (Common Gateway Interface). Students should have a working knowledge of Hyper Text Mark-up Language (HTML) and JavaScript. $ 3.00 Materials Fee - PAYABLE AT REGISTRATION.
