Two hours lecture per week. CSU Prerequisite: Sophomore standing in the Dental Hygiene Program. This course is designed to give the student a study in the needs of the medically compromised, or the mentally and physically challenged patient. Emphasis will be placed on therapeutic techniques in treating these special needs patients in a dental clinical situation.
