Three hours lecture per week. UC Credit Limitation/CSU, AA GE, CSU GE, IGETC, CUL DIV Advisory: Eligibility for ENGL 100 C. This course serves to broaden the ethnic and racial perspective of students interested in American culture and society. It encompasses an historical overview of the social, cultural, political, and economic aspects of four ethnic groups - Native Americans, African Americans, Chicanos, and Asian Americans - in the United States. Emphasis is placed on the historical and contemporary relationships of these groups with each other and the rest of American society. Duplicate credit not granted for ETHS 100HC.
