Four hours lecture per week. NON-DEGREE CREDIT This is a course for students wishing to review basic arithmetic skills. It includes the concepts of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers, and decimals. Also covered are percents, ratios, rates, solving proportions, perimeter and area of geometric figures, English and Metric measurements and an introduction to negative numbers. There is an emphasis on applying the mathematics to real-world situations. All work will be done without a calculator.
