Four hours lecture per week. NON-DEGREE CREDIT This course is designed for students who are planning to study algebra and need a review of the basic skills of arithmetic and an introduction to the basic principles of algebra. Topics covered include integers, fractions, decimals, percent, proportions, exponents, properties of real numbers, evaluation of algebraic expressions, elementary equation solving, formulas, informal geometry, and applications. This course requires a non-graphing scientific calculator.
