(Same as MUS 178 C) Three hours lecture and One and one-half hour laboratory TBA per week. CSU A comprehensive study of how digital technology is used in the music industry today. Designed for students with interest in songwriting, recording, audio production, and/or multimedia. Students will get hands-on experience with MIDI, keyboard synthesizers, sound modules, sequencers, sound editors, notation software, audio file formats (.wav, .mp3, .mid, etc.), and mastering to compact disc.
