(Same as PHOT 217 C) Two hours lecture and Four hours laboratory TBA per week. CSU Prerequisite: PHOT 103 C or MMPH 103 C with a grade of "C" or better. This course is designed to provide the student with advanced knowledge of 3D photographic imaging technologies as they relate to the study of light, form, and three-dimensional space. Students will study lighting, form, and space in virtual environments of their own creation. A diverse assortment of 3D software will be utilized to instruct students in how forms are visually perceived and modified based on the way light describes them. The relationship between 2D and 3D imaging applications will be discussed as well as the integration of the two for a variety of commercial photography and multimedia applications. These include studio background creation, special visual effects, game production, photo illustration, and digital composites. $35.00 Materials Fee - PAYABLE AT REGISTRATION.
