Two hours activity plus one hour assigned per week. UC Credit Limitation/CSU, AA GE, CSU GE, CSU GE Prerequisite. Demonstrate ability to swim. This course is designed to develop knowledge and skill in competitive swimming strokes. The swimming strokes to be taught are the American crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and dolphin butterfly. The class will emphasize the development of cardiovascular aerobic conditioning.
