Four and one-half hours lecture and Seven and one-half hours laboratory per week. CSU Prerequisite: PT 110 C. This course explores the disease process of medical/surgical conditions relative to etiology, pathology, and treatment modalities. The therapeutic use of medication, the principles of nutrition, and the application of the nursing process are presented in classroom instruction and implemented in clinical practice.
