Three hours lecture and Three hours laboratory per week. CSU Prerequisite: Admission to Radiologic Technology Program. This course offers a study of the principles of radiographic exposure, geometry of radiographic image, factors influencing radiographic quality, beam restricting and attenuation devices. Included are the importance of minimum imaging standards, discussion of a problem solving technique for image evaluation and the factors that can affect image quality. Actual images will be included for analysis. Content will also provide a basic knowledge of quality control. $50.00 Materials Fee - PAYABLE AT REGISTRATION.
