Two hours lecture and Six hours laboratory per week. This is a course designed to prepare the student with skills in machine tool equipment used by industry. Students will be instructed in the use of the lathe, drill press, grinder, shaper, milling machine and measuring instruments. Machine and sheet metal fabrication will prepare the student in the use of metals in the joining, forming, shaping and cutting of materials. Material Fees for materials provided by the Department. Fee is paid in the Bookstore as needed during the semester.
