Three hours lecture per week. UC Credit Limitation/CSU, AA GE, CSU GE, IGETC The student will investigate the history of the influence of differing cultures, traditions, and technologies on the development of the theater as a social institution through comparative study of plays, historical events, and the theatrical environment. Theater practice from prehistory to the present will be studied. Attendance at theater productions may be required. Duplicate credit not granted for THEA 102HC.
