Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education, completion of courses listed in Block I with a grade of "C" or better in each course, must be taken concurrentlywith EDUC 3286, 4263, MATH 3703, ESOL 4240, READ 3262. Students will examine the current content and methodology of social studies education for young learners (grades P-5). Students will design and implement learning experiences that incorporate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes appropriate for an elementary social studies program. Field experience required. (S)
