Prerequisite: ENGL 1102 with a grade of "C" or better.Provides an in-depth study and honing of skills of written communication, including poetry and creative nonfiction; emphasizes techniques of literary invention, particularly those of diction, concision, setting, tone, and theme; offers exposure to the analysis and critique of peer and professional texts. Special attention is given to drafting and revising original works. Oral presentation of creative work complements emphasis on writing.
