Description:
Dance Composition is designed to allow the student to investigate movement affinities and to discover new movement vocabularies through solo and small group compositions. Studies examine the basic elements of dance - the body in time, space and dynamics, as well as the use of music with movement. This course emphasizes personal coaching and critique, and peer feedback, within a nurturing and experimental environment. Prerequisite: DANC 1600 or permission of instructor. Corequisite: None. Offered: Spring.
